DXST is the premarket tape of the morning, writing at 8:45 AM ET on Wednesday July 16. Decent Holding gapped out of a five-day fade, spiked toward the high-$3s in the early hours, and has since bled back into the mid-$2s — below the session’s volume-weighted average price. Premarket volume has already turned the float over roughly ten times. On a float this size, that’s not accumulation. That’s a hot potato changing hands.

No fresh headline hit overnight. Tiingo shows nothing ticker-specific in the last week, which makes this a structural move: a sub-2M share float meeting a wall of momentum flow. The most recent company news is a week old — a July 8 business update citing nearly 150,000 paid members across roughly 480 community service centers. That’s the other thing to know about this name: it’s an established wastewater treatment services provider in China that has pivoted hard, expanding a community healthcare network toward a target of approximately 1,000 centers by the end of 2026 and forming a partnership with Taihao Robotics in June to launch a robotics training network in China.

The two forces on the tape

Bull side: the float is genuinely tiny, and tiny floats don’t need news — they need order flow. Yesterday, Wednesday July 15, the stock closed at its recent lows near the $2 handle on thin volume. Sellers were exhausted; the spring was loaded. Note this isn’t a short squeeze — short interest was last reported around 16.4 thousand shares, about 1.3% of the float. This is pure long momentum chasing scarce supply.

Bear side: the share-structure machinery. A $200M mixed securities shelf was filed April 24. The company called a July 14 extraordinary general meeting to increase authorized capital from 19.8M Class A shares to 900,000,000, and to authorize reverse splits at ratios between 1-for-10 and 1-for-250 — and the only SEC filing this week is a 6-K dated July 14, the day of that meeting. The last reverse split, a 1-for-25, took effect March 16, 2026 to help maintain the Nasdaq listing. Insiders won’t need your vote on anything: Chairman Dingxin Sun bought 400,000 Class B shares at $2.00 in a June 1 subscription, lifting his control to roughly 90.5% of total voting power. Add a Rosen Law Firm securities class action investigation to the risk stack.

The levels that decide it

The premarket structure is clean:

  • $2.28 — the premarket low. Lose it and the next shelf is the $2.00–2.08 zone from Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Mid-$2.80s — the premarket VWAP area. Price below it means the average buyer this morning is underwater; a reclaim on volume flips control back to buyers.
  • High-$3s — the spike high. That’s the breakout trigger, and it only matters if VWAP is reclaimed first.

Trading below VWAP after a spike-and-fade usually means the first pop into the open gets sold. The opportunity here is level-to-level, not buy-and-hope: this float can produce a violent second leg if the open brings fresh demand through VWAP, but the 900M-share authorization plus an effective shelf means any sustained price strength is exactly when new supply becomes most likely. Size for a name that put in a 60% intraday range before the market even opened, and know your exit before entry.

Mechanics Box — the structural read
  • Shares outstanding: 2.22M · Float: 1.22M
  • Dilution-relevant SEC filings (30d): none found in the last 30 days
  • Splits: 1-for-25 reverse (2026-03-16)
  • Roughly 2.2M shares outstanding with a ~1.2M float after a 1-for-25 reverse split effective March 16, 2026, done to maintain Nasdaq listing. A $200M mixed securities shelf was filed April 24, 2026, and a July 14, 2026 EGM sought approval to raise authorized capital to 900M Class A shares plus new reverse-split authority of 1-for-10 to 1-for-250. Chairman Dingxin Sun holds roughly 90.5% of voting power following a June 1, 2026 Class B subscription at $2.00 per share.
