WETO is up nearly fourfold before Friday’s open, and the premarket tape has already chewed through the float roughly ten times over. Writing this at 8:40 AM ET on July 31, with the stock holding near its premarket VWAP after tagging a high in the upper teens of a dime. This isn’t one catalyst — it’s a stack, and the most interesting piece is structural.

The catalyst stack

Wetour Robotics — the former Webus International, a Hangzhou-rooted mobility company now pitching itself as a Physical AI infrastructure play developing Orchestra, an operating system coordinating human intent with intelligent physical devices including wearable robotics — dropped three headlines in 48 hours. Wednesday evening, July 29, it announced a 1-for-100 share consolidation effective August 3, with post-consolidation trading beginning at Monday’s open. Shares fell around 19% on Thursday after the split announcement — then Thursday evening brought news of a US$20 million multi-site warehouse robotics agreement in North America, and a 7:00 AM Friday release announcing WETO joined the Qualcomm Partner Network. Deal-plus-partner-logo into a three-cent stock. Ignition.

The round-up trade

Here’s the mechanic doing quiet work: every 100 shares (or part thereof) gets combined into one, with fractional shares rounded up — meaning tiny odd-lot positions become a full post-split share. That asymmetry reliably pulls in swarms of small buyers ahead of the effective date. The consolidation takes the count from 107,783,305 shares to approximately 1,077,834, a genuinely microscopic post-split share count — but note the refill machinery: WETO tripled its ATM program to $50 million with a July 6 amendment (that’s the 424B5 on file). Post-split prices are exactly where ATMs get worked.

Trading the bracket

Premarket carved a wide range — low near Thursday’s close, high around seventeen cents, VWAP mid-range near eleven. Above VWAP, demand’s in control and the premarket high is the trigger; lose the $0.10 area and everyone who chased the top of the range becomes overhead supply. This is our second run on WETO — we covered the March 19 rebrand pop at $0.66, and the tape gave all of it back to three cents. Monday’s consolidation resets the chart entirely, so treat today as a self-contained bracket trade, sized for a name that can halve in minutes.
